In this, the last play he wrote, Shakespeare has Prospero, who concentrated more on his magic than on the job of being a duke (thus being dethroned), triumph in the end.

Shakespeare's masterpiece is directed by Bob Baker with help from assistant director Sandi Robertson. Assistant to the directors is Heather Bond.  

Costumes appear to have been a creative challenge.  There is no run-of-the mill clothing in this enchanting production.  Costumes are by Carol Morris, Bob Baker, Judy McClay, Theatre Huntsville,  and Ars Nova School of the Arts. 

"The set for 'The Tempest' is one of the best that The Renaissance Theatre has ever produced", says director Bob Baker.  The set for this production was designed by Bob Baker, with tech director Gary Lee Knight.  

Lighting design is by Chris Lighthall and Bob Baker.  The sound design, by Brian Wilson and Bob Baker and executed by Daniel Weldon, is dramatic. Production concepts are compliments of Ann Armentrout.
