Huntsville
|
|
|
There are a lot of things to learn about a city in order to live there
successfully. Sometimes it takes years to find out some of the
"secrets" and tricks to living a good life. I share tips in
every issue of my weekly
newsletter.
If you know some good tips,
please send them to me via email. I
hope you find something useful to you here and feel more at home in Huntsville.
Tips for Week of February 6,
2003
THINGS I LEARNED THIS WEEK:
-
In view of the Columbia
Space Shuttle Disaster--Life is short; take time to stop and appreciate it.
-
If you're in a hurry, don't
take the Parkway during Arsenal rush hour traffic or stop in any stores, unless
you absolutely have to.
-
Victoria's
Cafe in Huntsville and The
Main Street Cafe in Madison do NOT have the same menu!
-
"A
Smile As Big As the Moon" is going to be made into a movie here in
Huntsville. Stay tuned for details.
-
The Lilypad
Tea Room in Fayetteville is re-opened under the original owners. A new BBQ
place will open next door on Monday.
-
My new goal: Have the most
comprehensive Event
Calendar in North Alabama. So help me out and send in those events! If you
know of something else I should know about living in Huntsville or North
Alabama, please email me.
