Tips, Tricks and Secrets to Living in
Huntsville
|
 |
|
There are a lot of things to learn about a city in order to live there
successfully. Sometimes it takes years to find out some of the
"secrets" and tricks to living a good life. I share tips in
every issue of my weekly
newsletter.
If you know some good tips,
please send them to me via email. I
hope you find something useful to you here and feel more at home in Huntsville.
Tips for Week of September 16,
2004
THINGS I LEARNED THIS WEEK:
-
This
Saturday, Sept. 18th, US Army Delta Company on Redstone Arsenal will
hold a car wash from 9 to 3 at Advanced Auto on Bob Wallace. Proceeds go
towards Christmas Party for the soldiers.
-
The
Grissom High School Theatre Department is selling cookie dough as a
fundraiser this year. For more info or to order, contact Chris
Bowser by Sept. 22. Delivery is mid-November.
-
Kid's
Kingdom Playground is being rebuild this weekend. For more information
or to volunteer, check out Madison
Recreation Website.
-
There's
a Hurricane Special at Renaissance Theatre this weekend only. Wear
your galoshes, bring your umbrellas, tickle your funny bone and forget your
troubles. Ride out Hurricane Ivan at Nice People Dancing to Good Country
Music.
