THINGS I LEARNED THIS WEEK:

• About 50% of the people living in Huntsville were not born here. BTW, I was! 

• Brady's Shoe Repair on South Parkway can fix your Birkenstock sandals. 

• The Botanical Garden has one of the best gift shops around. Right now they have a table with items marked 50% off. 

• The Tennessee Audubon Society meets the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at The Botanical Garden's Visitor Center.
