Facts are facts, so draw your
own conclusion. I know 4 people who had an experience whereby an appetizer or
salad was served which was NOT ordered. It was eaten because everyone thought it
was included and were never told otherwise. However, the bill shows up with a
charge for it. Questioning to owner garnered a response similar to "well
you should have refused it but since you ate it you must pay for it."
Again, draw your own conclusion but mine is that I have seen enough evidence to
believe this is an intentional practice to inflate the bill. For this to happen
to 4 different people seems beyond the realm of coincidence. And on the remote
chance they were all genuine mistakes, since when does a high-end restaurant
insist on charging a customer for something they acknowledge the customer didn't
order???
