Chuck Yeager became a fighter ace, a legendary test pilot, a leader of men, and an icon for generations, all while doing what he loved: flying. In the 1960's, he ran an astronaut school at Edwards Air Force Base. In 1975, he retired--because, he says, "the law only allows you to fly for 35 years." Since 1975, he has been a consultant test pilot.
