When you're in politics, you get blamed for everything.  Especially if something goes wrong.  But three enterprising friends are "blaming" the mayor for their new business, "It's A Wrap!"  Since this is a very good thing, they aren't "blaming," they are crediting the mayor with their new business.

Joanne  Randolph, President and CEO of BizTech; Kathy Young, owner of Salon Central, and Jody Weinstein, co-owner with Kathy of Artistic Surroundings Gift Shop, found a need and decided to fill it.

It started when Joanne asked Hattie Bryant to bring her show "Small Business School," which airs worldwide on Public Television, to Huntsville.  Not only did Ms. Bryant come, but she aired an unprecedented number of small business profiles for one city.  The three local companies she featured were Theatrical Lighting (David Milly), Cybes (Remigius Shatas) and AZ Technology (Don Wilkes).

At a Chamber of Commerce meeting where Hattie Bryant spoke, Mayor Loretta Spencer was presented with an attractively wrapped gift.  It was announced that Joanne Randolph had wrapped it for Hattie ahead of time.  Since Joanne's hobby is wrapping, she had gone out of her way and made this one of her best.
