Monday, June 9, 2003 was the day that the Burritt Museum Guild put on all its finery to show the women of Huntsville how fun a Silver Tea can be! Guests were treated to a large variety of delectable food prepared by Guild members, fruited punch, live entertainment, fabulous flower arrangements from the Federated Garden Clubs, an informative floral arranging class by Jerry Williamson of Bishop's Flowers, a stylish fashion show provided by Rebecca's, a breathtaking view of the city, and perfect weather supplied by Mother Nature. Join me for a few highlights and notes taken that day.
