Independent Musical Productions is presenting, Into the Woods, a musical comedy written by Stephen Sondheim. I wasn't familiar with this play, so it was a surprise and delight to see some of my favorite fairy tales come to life.
Some of the tales that are told in this production are Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel.
Sondheim add a new story--the childless Baker and his wife, and, of course, a witch--tosses them all together to create a very engaging story of what happens after "happily ever after."
