Now Cotton is in a foster home getting his weight back up. Cotton is clean and happy and a pretty incredible boy. He has a great, laid back personality and he is easy to love.
Cotton enjoys exploring and playing with his toys, but what he really likes the most is just hanging out with people. He likes to sit next to his foster mom and he even climbs in her lap for petting sessions. Sometimes he stands up on his hind legs when he wants attention. He is so smart and he has learned his new name and he comes when he is called!
Cotton has just been neutered and is still working on his litter skills. He has already improved just in the last few weeks.
Cotton is at a foster home now while he puts on some more weight , so if you'd like to see him please call his foster mom, Ruth, at (256) 882-2332. She'll arrange for you to meet Cotton, and his friends, too if you want.
Rabbits are wonderful pets. If you are interested in obtaining a rabbit for a family pet, please do some research prior to getting one? There is TONS of information online. We recommend the information from The House Rabbit Society (www.rabbit.org) or EARS (www.alabamaEARs.org). Rabbits are indoor house pets and can be litter box trained. They can live peacefully and happily with most dogs and cats with proper introductions. The $50 adoption fee for our bunnies covers their spay/neuter fees and also includes an adoption kit. This kit includes a litter box, food and water bowls, samples of litter, hay and pellets, an information packet, and even a toy!
