Introducing Mariah

Mariah is named after diva Mariah Carey!

Friends of Ferals is highlighting "Mariah" as their Cat of the Week. Mariah is a lovely brown tabby and white charming female shorthair kitten, about four month old. Her bold stripes, white paws, and yellow eyes unusually marked with black and white rims make her very beautiful, and she knows it!

She was found abandoned, tiny and wandering alone, thin and needy. With good food and loving care, she has blossomed into a real charmer, a talker and a diva, hence her name, Mariah Carey! She loves people and is loving and affectionate, with an enthusiastic purr. She is all kitten and loves to get into things, like helping you sweep the floor.

She also gets along fine with the foster mom's three big dogs and loves her other cat friends so she should go to a home with other cats. Like most cats, she doesn't like being grabbed suddenly, but would do well with older kids and some well mannered younger ones.

As with all Friends of Ferals cats for adoption, Mariah is spayed, and has had shots and tests. For more information please contact her foster mom Margaret at mlstephens@knology.net or call (256)882-2379 or (256)658-6113.
