Introducing Leah...

Leah is Shy & Needs a Quiet, Peaceful Home

For Cats' Sake is highlighting "Leah" as their Cat of the Week. Leah is a 4 year old spayed female who is a gorgeous delute semi-long haired calico. She is another of our sweet but shy girls who just needs a quiet home with experienced and patient people to help her overcome her fears. As with most shy cats, the secret is not to push Leah into being friends, but to spend time with her and to allow her to decide when she is ready to come out on her own.

Leah needs experienced, adult owners who will understand that this girl needs her space and does not like to be overly fussed over. Leah would be more than happy to be left alone to her own devices while you are at work, providing she has her toys and cozy quilt.

Leah wants everyone to know that she has no bad habits and that she gets along with other felines; so, all Leah needs now is a loving, calm, patient adult's home where she can learn to relax and enjoy being a pet.

For more information or to meet Leah, please contact her foster mom Mary at marycats@nehp.net or call (256) 725-4918 (home) or 682-4223 (cell).

For Cats' Sakes also offers in-home adoptions (they will visit your home with several cats for you to check out in the privacy of your home--no obligation to adopt).
