Cat of the Week: Mona Lisa

By Jean Brandau, About.com

Introducing Mona Lisa...

This sweet cat just needs to be loved...

Friends of Ferals is highlighting "Mona Lisa" as their Cat of the Week. Mona Lisa has warm blue eyes and a lovely calico type coloring with semi-long silky coat of hair. Mona Lisa recently suffered the death of her owner and has been traumatized by her situation.

One year old Mona Lisa is a shy and gentle cat who needs to be placed in a loving home environment where she will have the time and attention required to come out on her own. One friendly, gentle brother or sister cat as a "good example" is a great help with a shy cat; otherwise, Mona Lisa must be an only cat. No dogs or children under 15 years. Do you have the love, time and attention that this precious cat needs?

As with all Friends of Ferals cats for adoption, Mona Lisa has been spayed, and has had shots and tests. For more information or to meet Mona Lisa, please contact her foster mom Mary at marycats@nehp.net or call (256) 725-4918.
