Introducing Precious, the Persian

More About This Precious Cat
Precious eats her food well, uses her litter pan correctly except when she has an IBS attack and then she loses complete control. She is hard to pill and the pill must be given each and every day without fail. The prednisone may well shorten her life some, but there is no choice but to give it to her. Her Foster Mom says, "Each time I have tried to give a little less, she gets thrown into an attack."

With the prescription food and the prednisone, she is stable. Without these two things, she feels really bad and has uncontrollable diarrhea. With her long fur, the diarrhea is especially a problem. Precious requires frequent grooming due to the length of her fur.

Precious does not know she is "special." She would love to just sit on your lap and look beautiful and be petted. If you have it in your heart to take a special little kitty in, this dear baby would love you in return. Her special needs include:

  • need to be groomed
  • Prescription food required - ID by Hill's
  • Prednisone tablet every day (and she is not easy to pill)
The reward is giving a happy life to a very special and beautiful girl.

As with all Friends of Ferals cats up for adoption, she is spayed, and has had shots and tests. For more information on Precious, or to meet her, please contact her Foster parents Dan or Sarah at slhdavis@earthlink.net or call 881-1225 at work or 694-0813 for cell.
