In January, 2004, she was spotted near Malibu Apartments. It was a cold and rainy night, so the rescuer put some food out for her. When she came up to the food, they got a good look at her and realized something was horribly wrong with her eye. They had no luck catching the cat all through out this cold, bitter day. One of the residents in the apartments, explained that the cat had been injured over Christmas in a car engine. The rescuers searched all night with no luck. When the rescuers finally got her, they knew by this time the injured eye would have to be removed.
Now that she's recovered, Sarah is doing just fine and is as joyful as can be. Having one eye doesn't seem to bother her at all. She is affectionate and gets along great with the other cats. The foster home doesn't have dogs ,so we don't know how she will react to them. This miracle cat deserves a safe, loving home to give her the attention and affection she needs!
As with all Friends of Feral cats for adoption, Sarah has been spayed, and has had shots and tests. For more information on Sarah, or to meet her, please contact her foster parents Dan or Sarah at slhdavis@earthlink.net, or call 881-1225 (work) or cell 694-0813.
