She is very vocal and loves to hear herself talk. Her favorite game is to meow, run toward her food bowl and beg for attention (rather than food). She especially loves to be laid on her back and petted.
Slinky was a feral rescued from under an apartment building when she was eight weeks old and is still skittish sometimes in new situations.
Slinky is very good friends with the other cats that live with her and would probably enjoy having a companion cat, as long as she gets plenty of love. Slinky recently contracted Feline Leukemia from her best cat friend but otherwise is a healthy cat and we would be happy to explain her illness in depth, as it is often misunderstood. She has been spayed and all her shots are current. She is hoping that special forever home will be found for her soon, as she has lots of love to give her new family.
As with all Friends of Ferals cats for adoption, Slinky has been spayed, and has had shots and tests. For more information on her, or to meet her, please contact her foster mom Lauralai at lauralai.r.Osinski@nsstc.nasa.gov or (585) 410-4491 cell.
