Muscle Shoals Music CityFest

The third annual Muscle Shoals Music CityFest will take place October 8th and 9th on the grounds of the Muscle Shoals City Hall at 201 0 E. Avalon Avenue. This festival has grown in leaps bounds both in scope and attendance. When I spoke with Mayor David Bradford and City Clerk Ricky Williams they said that it was actually difficult to gauge how many were likely to attend this year because it's a free concert so they can't go by advance ticket sales. If previous years attendance are any indicator it could easily double to 10,000 or more. The first two years of the festival the headliners were Craig Morgan and Mark Wills.
