Art Exhibit & Lecture
The activities at the City Hall will also include educational exhibits, video presentations and a historical lecture. The Tennessee Valley Art Association will move the "Ancient Art: Master Works of the Native Southeast" show to the City Hall for the 2 day festival.

There will be a lecture by James C. Berryman, Assistant Director Tennessee Valley Art Association titled "From Mastodons to Musket Balls: 10,000 years of life in the Muscle Shoals area." This lecture will cover the period of time when the artifacts in the exhibit were discovered.

The videos shown will be "The Southeastern Indians" and "The Martin Petroglyph: Shoals Legacy of the Past". For more information see the Muscle Shoals Music City Fest Schedule of Events.

There will also be a continuous slide show that was developed by the TVA Retirees Association, featuring photographs of the construction of Wilson Dam, the construction process, the workers and the support facilities. Also included are later photos of the dedication of the dam as a National Landmark as well as aerial and other interesting photographs of the dam. The retirees sorted through the photos in the TVA archives to select the slides featured in this show.

The Muscle Shoals Music CityFest truly offers something for everyone. It's no wonder that this is quickly becoming such a popular event for locals and visitors alike.
