The 23rd annual Ritz Benefit Sale takes place November 4th through the 9th. This sale is always huge and a wonderful place to pick up antiques and other unexpected goodies. The proceeds from the sale benefit the
Tennessee Valley Art Association's historic Ritz Theater and programs at the Ritz. There is an early bird charge of $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children on Friday November 4th only, and the doors will be open from 5pm to 8pm. The hours for the remainder of the sale are Sat.: 7am to 7 pm; Sun.: 1 to 4pm; Mon through Wed: 8am to 4pm and there is no charge on those days. The sale will take place at 519 Avalon Avenue, Muscle Shoals at the Southgate Mall.
On November 5th the Kennedy-Douglas Volunteers will have an Attic Treasures sale to raise funds. The hours for this sale are 9am to 2pm and it will be held at the Kennedy-Douglas Center for the arts at 217 East Tuscaloosa, Florence. The organizers for this sale aren't accepting electronics or clothing. The focus will be home décor and I'm sure there will be some real bargains.
