Spotlight on The Shoals - August 2005

This will be the first month that I've been able to attend a monthly event in the Shoals called A Casual Gathering of Artists. On the second Saturday of each month patrons and artists from all disciplines including Theatre, Music, Film, Photography, and Visual Arts come together for a potluck dinner, fellowship, education, and entertainment. The group is hosted by a different area business each month. You can receive an email reminder with the meeting location each month by joining the Shoals Art Network. More pictures of a recent gatherings and information about future locations are available at the Gas Studio website of Clio award winning photographer Robert Rausch. I look forward to attending this month's gathering. It will take place at Keepers of the Past Antique Mall, Town Plaza, 500 S. Montgomery Avenue, Sheffield, AL.
