Spotlight on The Shoals - - July 2005

There will be a new event in The Shoals called First Fridays in Florence that begins the first week in August, and area artists who wish to participate should make plans now. The city of Florence has chosen to allow musicians to perform and artists to set up and sell their work in front of the downtown storefronts from 5pm to 8pm on the first Friday of each month. There will be no fee charged for booth space. This is a wonderful opportunity for area artists and musicians to gain exposure. We expect to draw artists and attendees from Huntsville, Nashville, Memphis, Birmingham, Tupelo, and other surrounding areas. Call the Lori Davis Gallery (256) 766-7410, Monday through Friday from 10 am - 5 pm for information about scheduling an exhibit space.
