Zodiac Players

"Dracula"

The Zodiac Players will present "Dracula" October 26th through the 30th. The play is based on the factual history of the Romanian Warlord Count Vlad Dracula, better known as Vlad the Impaler. This original 1927 version of Bram Stoker's Dracula is sure to intrigue and frighten you.

Adapted to a screenplay by Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston, this old classic weaves a suspenseful tale of love, passion, deceit, mystery, horror and the undead. It has all the ingredients for a super (natural) night of entertainment. Just in time for Halloween, this particular production boasts an amazing cast who is determined to stay true to the "old Hollywood horror melodrama" style in which the play was written.

Believe it or not, this play is suitable for the entire family (well, maybe not infants).

Come join the Zodiac Players as they vividly portray centuries old myth and legends of the vampire right in front of your eyes. Tim Ownby will direct the show.

The Zodiac Theatre is located at 416 N Court St Florence, AL. Curtain Times are 8:00 pm Wednesday through Saturday and 2:00 pm on Sunday. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $9.00 for students. Call (256)764-1700 for information.
