"Country Shindig", First Friday's, Spring Park Farmer's Market

First Friday's in Florence

September is the Shoals is so full of activity I hardly know where to start. I can tell I'm going to be peddling as fast as I can to make it to all the activities that look promising. If anyone would like to contact me for additional information on visiting the Shoals area or to discuss an upcoming event please email shoalssusann@bellsouth.net .

The month starts off on September 2nd with a regular monthly event in the Shoals. This is of course the monthly "Country Shindig", country music show held in the Muscle Shoals High School Auditorium on Avalon Avenue. This is family friendly entertainment featuring comedy, buck dancing and clogging. The doors open at 6:45 pm and the show begins at 7:30 pm. Admission is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for children 6 -12 years, and ages 5 & under get in free. For more information contact Keith Davis (256) 383-7853 or email kdavis777@juno.com .

Two other regular events that will continue in September are the Spring Park Farmer's Market held every Thursday from 4pm to 7pm and the First Friday's in Florence Art Fair on September 2nd from 5pm to 8pm.
