Zodiac Theatre: "Butterflies are Free"

Opening night for the Zodiac Players first show of the new season is September 14th. The show is "Butterflies are Free". This is an encore production from Zodiac's 2nd Season in 1973. The Leonard Gershe comedy classic ranks at the top among Broadway's best. "... it is funny when it means to be, sentimental when it is so inclined, and heartwarming" - NY. Daily News. The apartment setting is sure to be a visual treat having been designed and constructed by Keith Rhodes, our new Zodiac President and director of this production. The veteran cast includes Mary Katherine Rowe as Jill Tanner, Jacob McDougalas Don Baker, Maray Langley as Mrs. Baker, and Tim Burgess as Ralph Austin.

The show runs from September 14th through September 18th. Curtain Times are 8:00 pm Wednesday - Saturday and 2:00 pm on Sunday. The location is the Zodiac Theatre at 416 N Court Street in Florence. Call (256) 764-1700 or email zodiacweb@bellsouth.net for additional information.
