A New Leash on Life Dog Adoptions

Black Betty Wants a Home of her Own!

This week "A New Leash on Life" is spotlighting Black Betty, as their "Dog of the Week." Black Betty was all alone, looking for a family to love her, when a volunteer from A New Leash on Life found her and took her in. When taken to the vet, they found out she had heartworms, and decided to raise the money to treat this wonderful dog.

Now, Black Betty is heartworm negative and ready for a new home. She has been through alot, but seems to appreciate her new "leash" on life. She is in a wonderful foster home until she is adopted, and she gets along great with children and other dogs. She is also housetrained, which is a wonderful thing, because Betty loves to be whereever her family is--inside or out. She has been vaccinated and the vet has given her a clean bill of health. Her favorite thing to do is chase tennis balls.

If you have room in your heart and home for Black Betty, please contact A New Leash on Life at (256)489-PETS or email pets@anewleash.org. She will make someone a wonderful pet!

Also, if you would like to contribute to A New Leash on Life to help them with vet bills (they currently have 4 dogs going through treatment for heartworms) it is a tax-deductible donation and greatly appreciated You can send donations to: ANLOL, P.O. Box 221, Brownsboro, AL 35741.
