Chester Wants to Play Ball!

Wanna Play Ball?

A New Leash on Life is highlighting Chester as their Dog of the Week. Chester is a cute Shar-Pei mix who is about 4 months old. He was named Chester after the Looney Tunes dog who followed “Spike” around and had one floppy ear and one upright ear.

He and his pal Chelsea (who is also available for adoption) were abandoned at a local park. Luckily for them, a nice man found them, contacted A New Leash on Life, and now they need to find a good, permanent home.

Chester is very friendly, likes to fetch (although he doesn’t quite have the “return” part down yet), and loves water! He often takes a dip in his foster mom’s baby pool to cool off.

Chester will probably be a large dog – maybe 50 or 60 pounds. But he will just be a big ol' teddy bear to love! He gets along with other dogs, is great with people, and likes to bark at cats – but he doesn’t hurt them.

Please contact A New Leash on Life , if you would like to meet Chester or any of their other foster pets. You can call (256)489-PETS or email pets@anewleash.org. They are also on the web at www.anewleash.org.
