Introducing Peanut...
Dog of the Week: Peanut

Peanut is looking for a loving family.

This week Huntsville Animal Services is featuring "Peanut" as their Dog of the Week. Peanut is a gorgeous dachshund mix. He weighs approximately about 10 pounds.

When Peanut is alert, his ears look enormous as they will stick straight in the air.

Peanut was turned in by his owner. He is older, probably 8 to 10 years old. He is a cryptorchid, which means that he has one testicle inside his abdomenal cavity.

Peanut deserves a loving family. He will probably live another 5 to 10 years. Stop by Huntsville Animal Services on Triana Blvd. from 9 am to 5 pm on Monday-Friday or Saturday 9 am-3 pm to meet Peanut in Puppy Pen #2 or any of the other dogs or cats on Adoption Row. There is a large selection to chose from and all are anxiously awaiting a new home. For more information, call 883-3782.
