Introducing Scrappy...

Scrappy has a big smile...

This week Huntsville Animal Services is featuring "Scrappy" as their Dog of the Week. Scrappy is a Dachshund, Chihuahua mix and is about one and a half years old. Scrappy was dropped off at the shelter by his owner, but they didn't say why. The staff doesn't know why either, because everyone at the shelter thinks he's a great boy.

Scrappy has lots of energy, and he likes to be a sweet boy too. He is pretty happy to be just about anywhere, and he loves to get attention. The volunteers kept talking about his big smile. He loves squeaky toys, too. So if you'd like to make this little guy happy and share some squeaky toys with him, stop by Huntsville Animal Services and meet him.

You can stop by Huntsville Animal Services on Triana Blvd. from 9 am to 5 pm on Monday-Friday or Saturday 9 am-3 pm to meet Scrappy or any of the other dogs or cats on Adoption Row. There is a large selection to chose from and all are anxiously awaiting a new home. For more information, call 883-3782.

Huntsville Animal Services offers 24PetWatch microchips, which include free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service. For more information visit www.24petwatch.com or call 1-866-597-2424.
