Introducing Slugger...

Slugger Was Beaten By Previous Owner

This week Huntsville Animal Services is featuring "Slugger" as their Dog of the Week. They are looking for a rescue for Slugger.

This guy was involved in a baseball bat beating. His owner tried to beat him to death with one. His brother was killed, but with the miraculous help of local veterinarians, Slugger is A-OK!

He would love a great home. Slugger enjoys other dogs, but would prefer a spayed female friend.

Miraculously, Slugger only has very minor issues with healing sinus cavities. Please give him a chance for happiness.

Huntsville Animal Services are only to place Rags in an excellent, loving home. If you are interested in making Slugger's life more enjoyable, contact the Chief of Animal Services, Karen Sheppard at (256) 883.3624.

You can stop by Huntsville Animal Services on Triana Blvd. from 9 am to 5 pm on Monday-Friday or Saturday 9 am-3 pm to meet Slugger or any of the other dogs or cats on Adoption Row. There is a large selection to chose from and all are anxiously awaiting a new home. For more information, call 883-3782.

Huntsville Animal Services offers 24PetWatch microchips, which include free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service. For more information visit www.24petwatch.com or call 1-866-597-2424.
