A New Leash on Life Info

A New Leash on Life is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of wonderful dogs and cats who have been abandoned, abused, or are otherwise homeless in Huntsville and the surrounding areas.

All of the animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm & FELV/FIV tested, and kept in an approved foster home until they are adopted to a forever home that will love and care for them for the rest of their lives.

When you adopt a pet from New Leash on Life, you will know their good and bad habits, since the animals all live with a foster family before adoption.

The adoption fee is $100, and is a tax-deductible donation greatly needed to continue the daily work of rescuing. If you adopt two pets together, the adoption fee is greatly reduced, because the pets have a much better life when they have a buddy to spend it with!

A New Leash on Life is currently seeking volunteers for pet adoptions, fostering, transport, etc. If you would be interested in talking to someone about their program, please call (256)489-PETS.

Most importantly, please SPAY and NEUTER all your pets!

To see New Leash on Life pets for adoption, go to their website and click on the Petfinder icon. Then click on "Our Adoptable Pet" List.
