Star is a cute dachshund mix who was surrendered by her owner while she--the dog, not the owner!--was pregnant. Star is sweet, loves attention, and does great with children.
Star's five little pups were born on March 20th and are now old enough to go to their new homes. The two females have been adopted, so there are now 3 males left. Their father Toby is a Rat Terrier mix, so the puppies will remain small.
Star and her puppies promise to be wonderful, loving pets to a good home. A New Leash on Life will reduce the adoption fee if you adopt two pets together, since most animals -- dogs in particular -- do better when they have a companion to keep them company.
