Tryke has been at the shelter for about a month, so she is ready to go to a new home. Tryke came into the shelter as a stray, so we don't know her back ground or her story - she came in with her left front leg amputated. That doesn't slow her down.
One of her favorite things to do is run in our fenced paddock area. In fact, Tryke doesn't even notice her leg is gone - she's like the energizer bunny...she just keeps going and going and going. Not in a bad way, though; as an adult dog, after her walk & doing her business, getting a little attention time, she's content just to hang out near you.

Huntsville Animal Services is located on the south end of Triana Boulevard. We are open Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. All adoptions stop 30 minutes prior to closing time. Our dogs & cats for adoption can be viewed any time we're open.
