2011 Concerts in the Park Schedule

Monday Nights in Big Spring Park

By , About.com Guide

Each Monday night in the summer months downtown Huntsville comes alive with music during Concerts In the Park. This 10-week free series is a co-production of The Arts Council and the City of Huntsville’s Department.

Every Monday night, audiences can enjoy an eclectic blend of tunes, from jazz to rock-n-roll. The majority of these free concerts are held at the east end of Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville. Concerts are open to the public and run from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Those who attend are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and a picnic. Snacks and soft drinks are also available for sale.

In the event of inclement weather, decisions regarding cancellations (or relocations) of Concerts are not made until between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. Listen to your local radio or TV stations for cancellation. For more information, call (256) 519-2787 (ARTS).
