La Bella Gondolas "Float Your Boat"
Float with your picnic dinner on the lake for two hours and watch the fireworks in the night sky above while surrounded by the colorful reflections on the sparkling water. The launch site will be located next to the west lake and sports authority. They have 10 pedal boats and 4 electric boats that will seat up to four passengers available for reservation. The 10 reservation slots run from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm with fireworks estimated from 8:45 pm - 9:15 pm. During this time you are welcome to come and go as you please. For reservation, call (256) 503-3875 from 12-9 Monday-Thursday, Friday and Saturday 12-10, or Sunday 12-7 with your credit card information.
4th of July Fireworks - Madison
The Madison Parks and Recreation Department is planning another fun filled Fourth of July celebration at Dublin Park located at 8324 Old Madison Pike. The festivities will occur on Saturday, July 4th starting at 1:00 PM. There will be free inflatable activities until 7:00 PM including a Kiddie Corner, 70-ft obstacle course, three in one combo, 62-ft water slide, and childrens circus train. At dark, there will be a free fireworks show that promises to be one of the best in the Valley. Concessions will be available for a minimal cost. For more info, call 772-9300.
Huntsville Stars vs. West Tenn - Baseball Game- Huntsville
July 4 at 6:00 pm see Independence Day Fireworks. After the game, they will have four finalists in a MDA Home Run Derby. Then they'll have Huntsville's best fireworks show without the hassle of fighting traffic in other places. Immediately following the fireworks all ladies 18 and older will be invited onto the field for the annual Diamond Dig. All fans will he an opportunity to win a prize from Pigeon Forge. Enjoy post-game fireworks above Joe Davis Stadium at 3125 Leeman Ferry Road. For tickets or more info, call (256) 882-2562.
July 4th Tea Party
Tea Party will be July 4th to help declare Independence from Tax & Spend Politicians. Here in Huntsville, the Tea Party will be at the fairgrounds near Joe Davis Stadium with barbeque on sale from 7-9 pm, featured speakers (Lester Phillip, Mary Scott Hunter, and Roger Richardson and hosted by Dale Jackson) from 8-9 pm and fireworks display at 9 pm.
Spirit of America Festival - Decatur
The South's largest free 4th of July celebration is held annually at Point Mallard Park. The two-day Spirit of America is one of the largest free Fourth of July celebrations in North Alabama. Held at Point Mallard Park, the event hosts a variety of summer activities culminating in one of North Alabamas largest aerial fireworks displays. The Miss Point Mallard Pageant is held during the festival, and the Audie Murphy Patriotism Award and other freedom awards are presented. The event is free.
