Cedar Bluff Liberty Day - Centre
Annual Liberty Day Celebration will take place July3-4th. Patriotic celebration with a beauty pageant on Fri. night, arts and crafts show in the park all day Sat., with antique cars and tractors, entertainment, puppet show, inflatables and carnival games for kids, food and area's largest fireworks show at sundown over Weiss Lake. The day is highlighted at 9:00 P.M. with one of the largest fireworks displays in Alabama. This spectacular display is made even more special by the hundreds of lighted boats and thousands of spectators parked along the lakes edge to witness the event.

Spirit of Freedom Celebration - Florence

Thousands of people gather each year to enjoy live music: The 80s group Quiet Riot will headline the show, along with popular contemporary country group Shenandoah. The Fiddleworms and other groups will also be on the lineup. Entertainment will take place from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. There will be family fun, and various other activities. The celebration concludes with an impressive fireworks show illuminating the beautiful Tennessee River. This free fireworks show, which begins at 9 pm is one of the largest in the Tennessee Valley.
