New Year's Eve Gala & Band Party{/b]

SCOTTSBORO: The IMPACT Learning Center will sponsor a New Year’s Eve Gala and Band Party on December 31st at Scottsboro’s Goose Pond Civic Center. Music will be provided by Down Stroke.

The Benefactor level of giving -- $100 per person – will include a cocktail reception, Monte Carlo entertainment, and silent auction beginning at 7 p.m. The Veranda Café-catered dinner will be provided at 7:30. Patrons -- $30 each person or $50 per couple – will arrive at 10 p.m. and dance to the music and enjoy a buffet supper at midnight to ring in the New Year. For the price of their admission, benefactors can also participate in the music and midnight buffet.

During the silent auction people can bid and win things and services donated by individuals and businesses from the local area, from within the state of Alabama and from other states. The proceeds from this major fundraiser benefit the IMPACT Learning Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to education and workforce development.
