Summer Outdoor Concerts

One of the fun things about summer is the many opportunities to enjoy summer outdoor concerts in the Huntsville/Madison area. Most of the places invite you to bring a lawn chair or blanket and a picnic lunch to share while listening to a variety of musical styles. Some of the concerts feature local talent, while others have national artists coming to Huntsville. Most of the concerts are free or charge a reasonable ticket price for a delightful family outing.

Concerts in the Park - Huntsville

Every Monday night from Memorial Day through Labor Day, audiences can enjoy an eclectic blend of tunes, from jazz to rock-n-roll. The majority of these free concerts are held at the south end of Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville. Concerts are open to the public and run from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

2009 City Lights & Stars - Huntsville

Several summer outdoor concerts are held on Friday evenings at Burritt on the Mountain, in Huntsville. City Lights & Stars Concerts feature a variety of musical styles for these outdoor concerts.

Concerts at the Columns - Huntsville

In the summer, monthly concerts are held in the Boeing-Toyota Amphitheatre at the Huntsville Botanical Garden on Bob Wallace Avenue. The public is invited to bring their own picnic cooler; beverages are available for purchase.

Concerts in the Courtyard

EVERY Tuesday from May 19 through July 28th from 6 to 8 pm in the Westin Courtyard in Bridge Street. Live Music. Great Food. FREE ADMISSION!

The Westin Huntsville will be serving a special $2 patio menu, wine and beer for purchase outdoors and full bar inside.

Gazebo Concerts - Madison

Gazebo Concerts in the Park at Village Green Gazebo in Historic Downtown Madison on Thursday nights from 6:30-8:30 pm throughout the summer.

Acoustic Wednesdays at Scene

The Jason Albert Band will be playing live from 6-9 pm on the Scene patio on the third Wednesday of each month at Bridge Street.

Lakeside Summer Concerts - Guntersville

Every summer the Mountain Valley Arts Council presents a free outdoor concert at Guntersville Civitan Park. The concert starts at 6:30 pm on Tuesday evenings in June, July & August.

Singing in the Square - Athens

Athens, Alabama is the place to be the third Friday of the month from April through September for their Singing in the Square. The Athens downtown square comes alive with live entertainment.
