Panoply Arts Festival
Admission charged. Friday 5-9 pm , Saturday 10 am -9 pm & Sunday 1-8 pm in Big Spring International Park, Downtown Huntsville. Panoply has been a Huntsville Tradition for over 26 years. This three-day outdoor festival features presentations, demonstrations & fun, while promoting & enhancing the arts. It offers the perfect family environment through activities that children, teens & adults alike can enjoy, from the "Global Village" to hands-on workshops to the "Homegrown Talent Contest," "Ten-Minute Playwright Competition," Art Marketplace, an interactive drum circle & more. Ranked in the "Top Twenty Events" by the Southeast Tourism Society, Panoply continues to delight the entire Tennessee Valley & neighboring states by bringing the arts to life. Fantasy Playhouse’s “The Princess & The Pea”
Admission charged. Fri. 7 pm & Sat.-Sun. 1:30 & 5 pm at Von Braun Center Playhouse, 700 Monroe Street. Princess Astrid finds she has been lured from her home by Gustave the Troll as a prospective bride for the bookish Prince Eric.
