Spellbinders Seasonal Stories
Free. 3 pm at Huntsville Public Library, 915 Monroe Street. The Spellbinders will be telling seasonal stories for big folks, little folks & folks of all ages. For more information, call (256) 532-5984.

Rudolph Run
Free for spectators. The Rudolph Run will feature a 5K run and a 1 mile fun run. The course will “fly” participants through the beautifully decorated streets of downtown Huntsville, including the Twickenham and Old Town Historic Districts. The 5K race will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the 1 Mile will begin at 9:15 a.m. The Awards ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. Both Races will be start at Santa’s Village, located at Constitution Village, 109 Gates Avenue, downtown Huntsville. Planetairum Show: Star of Wonder
Admission charged. Doors open at 7 pm, show at 7:30 pm at Monte Sano State Park Planetarium, beside the Country Grocery Store & campground. What exactly was the object the Wisemen saw? Each year at this special time, we turn back the hands of time to look into the sky of long ago & to search for this mysterious object. As we ponder the skies of Bethlehem, we'll explore several possibilities incuding comets, meteors, novae & other phenomenon. For more information, call (256) 539-0316.

Boar’s Head & Yule Log Festival
Free. 4:30 & 6 pm at First United Methodist Church, 120 Green Street. This traditional festival, celebrating the triumph of good over evil, is probably the oldest pageant, dating from the 1300's. It is a processional with very colorful costumes & lots of singing with audience participation. For more information, call (256) 539-5738.
