With over 100 churches in the Huntsville/Madison County area, there is a wide variety of opportunities to experience some unique and moving services during Holy Week. Some activities are just for fun, like the many Easter Egg Hunts for the kids. Some are social, like the many Easter Brunches to chose from after church on Sunday. Then there are the religious ceremonies and services that help people meditate and appreciate the true meaning of Easter.

April 9-11 at 7 pm and April 12 at 10 am & 7 pm
Calvary Assembly of God: "The Whip, Hammer & CROSS"
Passover Unity Banquet & Seder Demonstration
VBC; North Hall at 6:00 p.m.
The Whip, Hammer and Cross is a presentation that depicts the last week of Christ life, death, and resurrection. The cast and crew is made up of volunteers from the church family of Calvary Assembly of God in Decatur, Alabama. This presentation contains a cast of hundreds in authentic costumes with lavish sets, live animals, chariot, living waters and special effects depicting: Triumphal Entry of Jesus, Pilate's Judgment Hall, Crucifixion Scene, Christ's Resurrection and The Ascension of Christ.
Reserved tickets are $2.50 each. Can order online.

Christ Our Savoir City Wide Christian Unity Banquet

Passover Unity Banquet & Seder Demonstration
VBC; North Hall at 6:00 p.m.
This yearly Christian event has been celebrated in Huntsville, Alabama, for the past 21 years. Brotherhood and deliverance are key themes.

The banquet ticket price goes entirely for expenses. Our desire is for everyone to attend; therefore, there is a sponsorship program for those who may need assistance to attend.

Jesus' last supper with his disciples prepares them to travel the world. Share the reconciling love of Christ in the celebration of Holy Communion. Experience the loss of God's presence in the world symbolized by the stripping of sacred symbols from the Sanctuary. The Trinity Singers, Sanctuary Choir and Carillonneurs will lead music.
