Admission charged. Held at Sci-Quest on Wynn Drive--Architects, engineers and contractors compete to design and build giant structures made entirely from full cans of food. Free Three Caves Tour
Free. 2 pm from California Street, turn onto Hermitage & go all the way up the hill, left onto Kennemer Drive, park in The Land Trust parking lot. Visitors will see rocks that turn green in the light, baby stalagmites & smooth calcified rocks known as cave pearls in this mine that is developing into a natural cave. No sandals, strollers or pets due to rocky terrain. Reservations are required. For more information, call (256) 534-5263.

Burritt Kids' Camp: "Alabama Trails & Tales"
Admission charged. 10 am-3 pm at Burritt on the Mountain, 3101 Burritt Drive for ages 9 & 10 years old. "Alabama Trails & Tales" portrays settlers traveling to Alabama from an eastern settlement in Virginia. The students will face simulated perils of disease, flood & lost supplies. This will be an exciting simulation as we face the trails of early settlers. For more information, call (256) 536-2882.
