City Lights Concert Series #3
Admission charged. 7:30 pm at Burritt on the Mountain, 3101 Burritt Drive. Featuring Marshall Chapman & Tim Krekel. Audience members are encouraged to dress casually, bring a blanket or lawn chair & a picnic supper & enjoy the spectacular night-time view of Huntsville. For more information, call (256) 536-2882.

Beer, Brats & Beatles
Admission charged. 7 pm at Huntsville Botanical Garden Boeing-Toyota Amphitheatre, 4747 Bob Wallace Avenue. The BeatLads, Birmingham's Beatles Tribute Band, will transport Garden guests back to the 1960's with Beatles favorites. Tickets include the concert, a bratwurst plate prepared by Rolands Cajun Catering & one beverage. Additional beverages will be available for purchase. Shakespeare On The Mountain
Admission charged. 7 pm at Burritt on the Mountain Gazebo, 3101 Burritt Drive. The theme this year is "Merry Wives of Windsor." Bring snacks, picnic blanket, lawn chair if you like. Snacks will be available for purchase. For more information, call (256) 536-0807.

Melodrama/Dinner Theater
Admission charged. Fri. 6:30 pm, Sat. 2 & 6:30 pm & Sun. 2 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church Wesley Hall, 607 Airport Road. The acting in this melodrama,"The Saloonkeeper's Daughter," is over-the-top. The style is that of the old silent films. Delmore Days Bluegrass Festival—Athens Admission charged. 10 a.m.-10 p.m. at Athens State University Beasley Field--The festival will be "an old fashion trade day" with arts, crafts, and miscellaneous items, music, etc., and a kids' area to keep them entertained. Downtown Trolley Tours

Free Walking Tour In Historic Huntsville
Free. 10 am. Depart from Alabama Constitution Village on Gates Street. Enjoy an hour or so walking by some of Alabama's most beautiful antebellum mansions. Guides will share stories about the homes' owners as well as recognizing each site's distinctive style. No houses are entered. For more information, call (256) 533-5723.

Night Eco Hike
Free. 7 pm at Hays Nature Preserve. Soos Weber, City Ecologist, will lead a short 1.5 mile hike around the Preserve at night. Learn about nocturnal creatures using your own night vision (no flashlights allowed). Listen for beavers slapping their tails on the water in warning of your approach. Learn to ID some plants in the dark. For more information, call (256) 427-5116.

June Buggin' VW Antique Car Show
Admisison charged. 9 am-3 pm. Antique air-cooled Volkswagens will be swarming into the Garden for a show-n-shine sponsored by the North Alabama Volkswagen Club. Pick up a judging form in the Linda J. Smith Visitor Center & vote on your favorite Beetle for the Peoples Choice Award. The cars will be parked in the very back of the garden. For more information, call (256) 830-4447.
Anyone owning a 1980 & older VW who would like to participate may submit a registration form or call Special Events Coordinator Kay Curry at 430-3572 ext. 241 for further information.

Botanical Garden Armed Services Week
Mon.-Sat. 9 am-6 pm, Thurs. 9 am-8 pm & Sun. Noon-6 pm at Huntsville Botanical Garden, 4747 Bob Wallace Avenue. The Garden will be free to active & retired military & their families. For more information, call (256) 430-3572.
