Antebellum Trail Driving Tour (Athens)
Free admission. Athens-Limestone County Historic Area—Self-guided using a brochure or a CD ($5 for the CD). Spring Park Fountain Show (Tuscumbia)

Dinosaur Uproar
Admission charged. Mon.-Sat., 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sun., 1-5 p.m. at Huntsville Botanical Garden. This unique display features real-life settings for these giants, complete with numerous plants from ancient times. A 30-foot Edmontosaur and a 30-foot Parasaurolophus are featured in the collection. An 8-foot Africanus primitive crocodile, a 20-foot Allosaurs and several 8-inch cockroaches will also be highlighted. Real petrified wood specimens will allow visitors to touch the past. First Fridays in Florence
5pm -8pm at Downtown Florence hosts an art fair the first Friday of every month. Artists sell and demonstrate their work on the street. There is a variety of live music and entertainment.
