Spirit Stroll-Madison
Free. 7:00 pm at Hale Fire Glass, 112 Main Street Madison, AL 35758. The first Saturday of each month join S.A. Hale for a guided tour of downtown Madison. He will share local legends that you probably never knew.

Look What I Did With A Leaf
Free. 4-5 pm at Madison Public Library, 130 Plaza Boulevard Madison. Join Miss Mandy as we follow Lois Ehlert's example in her book "Look What I Did With a Leaf!" We'll provide the materials, all you have to do is be creative with a variety of locally gathered fall leaves. For more info, call (256) 461-0046.

Veterans Day Parade
Free. 11:00 am in Downtown Huntsville. The traditional time for a Veterans Day parade is the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. At 11 am the flag at the corner of Williams & Lowe Avenues will be raised to full mast, followed by taps & a three-volley rifle salute. Groups should line-up no later than 10 am. Quilt Challenge '09 -- Florence
Free. Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in Kennedy-Douglass Ctr. for the Arts-The Shoals Piecemakers Quilt Guild issues a challenge to its members to create innovative quilts following a new set of rules each year. The exhibit includes creative and varied works of fiber art. For more information, call (256) 760-6379.

Theater Huntsville Presents: Christmas Belles
Admission charged. Fri.-Sat. 7:30 pm & Sun. 2 pm at Von Braun Center Playhouse, 700 Monroe Street Huntsville. A church Christmas pageant spins wildly out of control as three sisters try to rein in the mayhem. Amidst an ailing Santa, a vengeful sheep & a reluctant Elvis impersonator, a family secret emerges that just might derail the entire production. 2009 Collinsville Historic Turkey Trot -- Collinsville
