Mountain Dulcimer Festival
From 1-4 PM. Admission charged. Held in & around the Gazebo at Burritt on the Mountain, Dulcimer makers & players from several states provide a blend of informal jam sessions, performances, demonstrations & displays. Bring lawn chairs, blankets & a picnic lunch. Sponsored by the mountain Dulcimer Association of Huntsville. For more info, call (256) 881-5352.

Huntsville Chamber Music Guild Concert: Angela Brown, Soprano
With Dr. Ginger Beazley & the Oakwood Aeolians.

Library's Hollywood Rock & Roll Film Series
Director Martin Scorsese's documentary follows the final concert of "The Band" in "The Last Waltz."

The Huntsville Botanical Garden Wine Tasting
5-7p.m. in the Arbor. Wines have personalities just like people. Come and find which wines you jive with. Experience 8-10 uniquely individual wines that will have your taste buds buzzing. Big Spring Jam
Fri. 5:30-Midnight, Sat. 1:30-Midnight & Sun. 1:30-10:30 PM. Admission charged. Huntsville's biggest music festival of the year and held in Big Spring Park. Tens of thousands of music lovers from Alabama & surrounding states gather to enjoy professional acts representing the best of country, rhythm & blues, rock, jazz & children's entertainment. September 22-30
Racking Horse World Celebration
Celebration Arena, Hwy 67 East in Decatur. Largest Racking Horse Show in US . Horses compete in more than 140 classes for children and adults, amateur and professional categories with the crowning of the best in each category. The celebration ends with the naming of the World Champion. Shows are nightly at 6:30 p.m. Admission charged.

September 22
Huntsville Speedway

Tom Joyner Sky Show
