Art On The Square—Athens
Free. A one day juried art cultural event promoting fine and performing artists of North Alabama and surrounding areas. Providing art education through demonstrations and children's "hands on" activities, this event offers a fun family day of food and music with the opportunity to create and own art.

Old Timer's Festival—Scottsboro
Free. 10 a.m. until. Rosalie--Take a few steps back into the past and experience quilting, corn grinding, blacksmithing, broom making, whittling, shingle making, Native American demonstrations, and period musical entertainment. Food available. For more information, call (256) 451-3640.

Ole Timey Craft & Bluegrass Festival—Scottsboro
Admission charged. 9 a.m.-6 p.m. in Paint Rock Valley Lodge--Bluegrass and country music, Cajun food, folk art demonstrations, including basket weaving, broom making, blacksmithing, Native American crafts, leather works, wood carving, pencil art, a Civil War reenactment, and display of guns, coins and knives.
