1. Now-December 19, 2012: Flying Monkey's Artist Market

Free.  noon- 4 p.m. Huntsville Artist Market at Flying Monkey at Lowe Mill, 2211 Seminole Dr. Free indoor artist booths/spaces for the sales and promotion of local artwork.  For more information, call 256-479-7863.

2. Now thru November 30, 2012: Harmony Park Safari

10 AM-Sundown at 431 Cloud's Huntsville. Admission charged. Enjoy drive-through observation & feeding of free ranging rare & endangered animals. Your self-guided tour also includes reptiles & amphibians from around the world, as well as various species of fowl. For more info, call (877) 726-4625.

3. Now Thru May 2012: Von Braun Exhibit--His American Journey

Admission charged. 9 am-5 pm at US Space & Rocket Center, One Tranquility Base Huntsville. This exhibit commemorates the 100th birthday of Wernher von Barun. It includes the majority of his papers, books, drawings, journals & memorabilia donated by his family. Many of these items have never been on public display. For more info, call : (800) 637-7223.

4. February 1-April 15, 2012: Exhibit--Tallulah!

Admission charged. Tues.-Sat. 10 AM-4 PM & Sun. Noon-4 PM at Burritt on the Mountain Mansion. Although Tallulah Bankhead never had a major role in a movie, she certainly left her mark on the stage & in Hollywood. View photos & film clips from her shows & performances. 5. February 29-April 7, 2012: MH's "Motherhood the Musical"

Admission charged. Fri. 7:30 PM, Sat. 2 & 7:30 PM & Sun. 2 PM at Merrimack Hall, 3320 Triana Boulevard Huntsville. Having a baby is just the beginning...motherhood is for life. It's climbing the emotional mountain only to find that there is laundry at the top. It's discovering how powerful your love can be & how quickly they grow up. 6. March 13-April 29, 2012: Exhibition for Youth Art Month

Admission charged.  Sun. 1-4 PM, Tues. & Wed. 11 AM-4 PM, Thurs. 11 AM-8 AM, Fri.-Sat. 11AM-4 PM, Closed Mon. at Huntsville Museum of Art, 300 Church Street, Huntsville. An annual gathering of exuberant artwork from North Alabama K-12 students, organized by HMA’s education department in observance of Youth Art Month. 7. April 1-30, 2012: Spring Festival of Flowers

Admission charged. Mon.-Sat. 9 AM-5 PM & Sun. 1-5 PM at Huntsville Botanical Garden, 4747 Bob Wallace Ave. Tens of thousands of blooming tulips, daffodils, dogwoods, azaleas & a breathtaking wildflower trail welcome spring in a spectacular show. We guarantee you've never seen bugs like the cricket, snail, dragonfly & ladybug topiaries. Festival weekends will feature music & special activities for children. 8. April 1-30, 2012: Alabama Holocaust Survivors Through Photography & Art

Admission charged. Tues.-Sat. 11 AM-4 PM, Thurs. 11 AM-8 PM & Sun. 1-4 PM at Huntsville Museum of Art, 300 Church St, Huntsville. Organized by the Birmingham Holocaust Education Center, the exhibition will include narratives about each survivor, as well as paintings by Mitzi Levin illustrating their memories of childhood, hiding, imprisonment & liberation. 9. April 3, 2012: "Christ our Passover"

10. April 5-6, 2012: Folklife Festival

Admission charged. 10 AM-4 PM at Alabama Constitution Village, 109 Gates Avenue Huntsville. Alabama's birthplace comes to life as you've never seen before.
