2. Now thru November 30, 2013: Harmony Park Safari

3. January 26-May 5, 2013--Art Exhibit: Monumental Rock & Roll Photography

Admission charged. Tues.-Sat. 11 AM-4 PM, Thurs. 11 AM-8 PM & Sun. 1-4 PM at Huntsville Museum of Art, 300 Church Street. Stand face to face with some of rock & roll's greatest legends from the early 1960s through the 90s. Sound & Vision will present 40 large-scale images of these musicians including Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin & many more. 4. Now Thru August 31, 2013: Black Holes: Space Warps & Time Twists

Admission charged. 9 am-5 pm at US Space & Rocket Center, One Tranquility Base Huntsville. Through a combination of hands-on physical models, computer-based investigations, immersive experiences & a technology-assisted learning environment, visitors experience the strange world of black holes & examine the evidence to weigh for themselves whether black holes have moved from the realm of science fiction to reality. 5. February 5-August 18, 2013: Exhibit: Alabama Inventors

Admission charged. Tues.-Sat. 9 AM-5 PM & Sun. Noon-5 PM at Burritt on the Mountain Mansion. Spanning the late 19th through 20th centuries, displays will include an interesting assortment of inventions that were created by Alabamians, born her or well-connected to the state. 6. March 10-April 21, 2013: YAM Exhibit: Youth Art Month

Admission charged. Sun. 1-4 PM, Tues.-Sat. 11 AM-4 PM, Thurs. 11 AM-8 AM, Closed Mon. at Huntsville Museum of Art, 300 Church Street South Huntsville. An annual gathering of exuberant artwork from North Alabama K-12 students, organized by HMA’s education department in observance of Youth Art Month. 7. March 16-August 31, 2013: Whimsical Woods

Admission charged. Tues.-Sat. 10 AM-4 PM & Sun. Noon-4 PM at Burritt on the Mountain, 3101 Burritt Drive Huntsville. Whimsical Woods is an interactive life-size game played in our historic park, & players (children) will be the game pieces. During their journey, players will become a part of classic children's stories of the 1800s as they climb a spider web, cross the Billy Goats Gruff bridge, put Humpty Dumpty back together again, or help Huck Finn guide his raft. 8. March 23-Dec.31, 2013: Giant Garden, Little Me, Great Big Things for Me to See

9. March 31-April 30, 2013: Spring Festival of Flowers

Admission charged. Mon.-Sat. 9 AM-6 PM & Sun. Noon-6 PM at Huntsville Botanical Garden, 4747 Bob Wallace Avenue Huntsville. Tens of thousands of blooming tulips, daffodils, dogwoods, azaleas & a breathtaking wildflower trail welcome spring in a spectacular show. We guarantee you've never seen bugs like the cricket, snail, dragonfly & ladybug topiaries. Festival weekends will feature music & special activities for children. 10. March 1-Octoner 30, 2013: Wade Warton Exhibit

Admission charged. Mon.-Fri. 9 AM-5 PM & Sun. noon-5 PM at Botanical Garden, 4747 Bob Wallace Avenue Huntsville. The Garden will display the whimsical metal art made from "found" metal pieces such as shovels, rototiller blades, springs & tools. He welds them into objects such as cats, dogs, flowers, time machines, Jack & the Beanstalk & more. Over 30 pieces of his artwork will be on exhibit. For more info, call 256-830-4447.
