1. Now Thru December 19, 2011: Flying Monkey's Artist Market

2. October 21, 2011-May 2012: Von Braun Exhibit--His American Journey

Admission charged. 9 am-5 pm at US Space & Rocket Center, One Tranquility Base Huntsville. This exhibit commemorates the 100th birthday of Wernher von Barun. It includes the majority of his papers, books, drawings, journals & memorabilia donated by his family. Many of these items have never been on public display. For more info, call : (800) 637-7223.

3. November 16, 2011-January 4, 2012: Burritt's Holiday Exhibit--Deck the Halls

Admission charged. Tues.-Sat. 10 AM-4 PM & Sun. Noon-4 PM Burritt on the Mountain, 3101 Burritt Drive Huntsville. Burritt’s Christmas exhibi will be a continuation of our fall exhibit, Unique, Bizarre Curiosities, with Christmas themed collections added. International Santa Clauses, nativity scenes, nutcrackers, and more will showcase some of the great items that people collect. The Mansion will also be festively decorated for the holidays with Christmas trees in every room and of course our traditional fruit fans will grace the doors just time for Kris Kringle’s Candlelight Christmas on Dec 2 & 3! 4. November 24, 2011-December 31, 2011: Galaxy of Lights Drive-Through

Admission charged.  5:30-9 pm at Huntsville Botanical Garden, 4747 Bob Wallace Avenue Huntsville.  Join the tradition by driving through the winter light extravaganza in the warmth of your car. 5. November 25-December 23, 2011: Santa's Village

Admission charged. 5-9 pm at Alabama Constitution Village, 109 Gates Avenue Huntsville. Young & old alike will delight in visiting Santa & Mrs. Claus' home, the reindeer in their stable & elves in their toy shop working busily to create special memories for you & your family in the village Santa calls home. 6. Now Thru January 15, 2012: "In Company With Angels" Art Exhibit

Admission charged. Tues.-Sat. 11 AM-4 PM, Thurs. 11 AM-8 PM & Sun. 1-4 PM at Huntsville Museum of Art, 300 Church St, Huntsville. In 1902, Louis Comfort Tiffany created this magnificent set of seven iridescent, stained glass windows, each representing a spectacular eight-foot-tall angel. These windows have been recently rediscovered and lovingly restored and reassembled, so that they may once again be enjoyed in all their multihued splendor, as they circulate on a nationwide tour. 7. Now Thru January 29, 2012: "Herb Ritts: Celebrity and Fashion" Art Exhibit

Admission charged. Tues.-Sat. 11 AM-4 PM, Thurs. 11 AM-8 PM & Sun. 1-4 PM at Huntsville Museum of Art, 300 Church St, Huntsville. This exclusive exhibition of 41 signature black & white photographs was hand-selected from the prestigious collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. For more info, call (256) 535-3450.

8. December 1-30, 2011: Community Christmas Trees Display

Free. Mon.-Thurs. 9 AM-9 PM, Fri.-Sat. 9 AM-5 PM & Sun. 1-4 PM at Huntsville Public Library, 915 Monroe Street Huntsville. The annual display takes place throughout the Main Library during the month & it is enjoyed every year by young & old alike. For more info, call (256) 532-5940.

10. Decemer 1-31, 2011: Santa's Pit Row

Free. 5-9 pm at USSRC, 1 Tranquiltiy Base Huntsville. We invite you to join us at Santa's Pit Row, located at the new entrance for the Galaxy of Lights. While at Santa's Pit Row guests will have a photo opportunity with Santa and his rocket sleigh, are able to visit the live reindeer, play in the snow area, make smores over the fire and enjoy other holiday treats available for purchase.
