Someone introduced Taylor (we all knew who he was!) and he asked us for our votes on Tuesday. He also apologized for all the funky white boy moves. We were all waiting to hear him sing but in a few minutes it was all over and they filed back by us again…this time leaving. My daughter reached out and touched his arm… When he got to where I was standing…he stopped and reached across my shoulder …….and shook someone’s hand behind me. I put my hand out hoping to get a handshake too…but I guess he didn’t see my hand.
We got on the interstate, went home and looked at our pictures on our digital cameras.
It had been a wonderful, "Taylor-Made Day".
As you can see, Taylor Hicks can bring the "teenager" out of all of us, no matter what our age. It's thrilling to get so excited about a singer and to be able to see him in person.
