My Chocolate Body Wrap Experience
I'm not really a big chocoholic, but I know some of you are, so I couldn't resist trying out the Chocolate Body Wrap just for you. The wrap is actually Dead Sea Clay or Mud (very expensive to have shipped in) with added chocolate. There are four chocolate flavors to choose from (and no calories!): Chocolate Raspberry, Chocolate Cherry, Chocolate Mint or Chocolate Cake or Fudge. I couldn't decide between the Raspberry or the Mint, so LaShelle did what any woman would do and combined them for me! I thought the smell might be overwhelming, but it was mild and pleasant.
This would be the perfect gift for someone on Valentine's Day, birthday, Christmas or just for a day of pampering.
When you get a body wrap you get a choice of how much of your body you want to have treated. You can wear a swimsuit, disposable underwear that is provided or go nude. I wanted LaShelle to put the chocolate mud on my face, too, but she had only prepared enough for my body (or my body was bigger than she expected) so I didn't get the facial, too. The massage table is draped with a special plastic sheet and you lie down on that. LaShelle "paints" your body with chocolate and then wraps you in several layers of plastic, sheets and blankets until you are snug as a bug. Then she leaves you wrapped up and listening to relaxing music for 30 to 45 minutes. I thought I would be drained after the experience because it draws toxins out of your body. I was surprised, however, to find that I felt invigorated and energetic. I think it was because the Dead Sea Clay furnishes so many trace minerals that we don't normally get.
I would definitely get another Chocolate Body Wrap...or a Hibernation Herbal Wrap...or a Cellulite Seaweed Wrap...okay, so I want to go back and try the Therapeutic Raindrops. I rate this spa high on my list because of its professionalism, pleasing facility, quality products, top of the line equipment, friendliness, and highly qualified massage therapist. They also offer body wraps and massages for children.
